Nicki Minaj threw heaps of shade at fellow lady musician Taylor Swift, who is nominated for the VMA Video of the Year for “Bad Blood”, after finding out that she herself, was overlooked in the category.
The “Anaconda” singer says that her curves are the reason for the snub, and that neither her solo video, nor her “Feeling Myself” duet with Beyoncé, was up for the award since they both have bodacious bods, and that only the ‘slim’ get the prestigious nod.
If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year ?????????????

Taylor got wind of the insinuating tweet and took immediate offense, confused as to why the 32-year-old rapper would come after her, as she has only shown her ‘mad love’ and support.
@NICKIMINAJ I've done nothing but love & support you. It's unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot..

Although there are no other slim body types in the Video of the Year category that Nicki could have been referring to, she attempted to clean up her slight by back peddling in a follow up tweet.
Huh? U must not be reading my tweets. Didn't say a word about u. I love u just as much. But u should speak on this. @taylorswift13

I'm not always confident. Just tired. Black women influence pop culture so much but are rarely rewarded for it. https://t.co/2xOvJzBXJX

Keeping it classy, the “Bad Blood” singer invited Nicki to come up on stage with her if she does win, but Meek Mill‘s girlfriend was already on a roll, and continued to rant about the injustice of it all, openly upset about how the mini twitter war was portrayed to make her look like the bad guy, with American Idol Host and radio jock Ryan Seacrest reporting that she took a “jab” at Taylor, who only “loves and supports” her.
Ryan posted a headline of Taylor saying she loves & supports me. But not me saying the same to her. Lol. Their headline says I took a "jab"?
