Move over Dr. Dubrow and Dr. Nassif because there is a new plastic surgeon in town on the hunt for his own reality show!
Dr. Stephen Greenberg of Bravo’s Secrets and Wives reality series tells Star that watching Botched is like going to work for the famous plastic surgeon and expressed his desire to open the doors of his own private practice to the rest of the country.
With the help of his wife as well as costar of Bravo’s Secrets and Wives, Gail Greenberg, Dr. Greenberg runs his own Manhattan based private practice called Greenberg Cosmetic Surgery.
Dr. Greenberg explains that he is currently considering the idea of creating his own reality show that will not only detail a patient’s cosmetic procedure, but capture their personal history and why the patient feels that they aren’t living up to their ideal potential.
“The reality might not be too far off,” Dr. Greenberg reveals to Star about obtaining his own reality show. “It’s currently on the forefront and we’ve been thinking of a few things.
“Watching Botched is like going to work for me. I see a lot of patients from around the world that need to be redone.
“I think it’s interesting to see people’s journey throughout the entire process, not just the surgery. Explaining why they went through with a procedure and expanding on their backstories are fun ways to convey their messages.
“Then mix in their psycho-social stories along with their cosmetic surgery procedure. So, it’s not just talking about one or the other, but it’s telling a story by discussing what their lives are like now or what’s wrong with them to begin with in other ways then what they actually look like.”
Dr. Greenberg specializes in rapid recovery procedures, what he describes as the latest trend in Hollywood.
“I can get patients back to normal activities in just 24 hours now,” explains Dr. Greenberg. “I can also administer red carpet quick tune-ups – not just for celebrities, but for the person next door.
“We can do non-invasive laser procedures to tighten up the skin in combination with all sorts of non-invasive new technologies. Also, injectables and fillers etc. combined with laser skin tightening procedures which are very much in.
“Mini quick lifts to the face are really popular right now. Patients can jump right back into normal day activities within the same day.”
