This didn’t sound like a minor boo-boo at first.
Jimmy Fallon was admitted to a hospital, according to Fallon Tonight’s official Twitter.
Hey guys – unfortunately tonight’s taping has been cancelled due to Jimmy injuring his hand. He’s totally fine but we’ll be airing a repeat.

The 40-year-old show host had just finished taping his Thursday show on June 25, and went out for a little grub at Scalinatella on the Upper East Side. Fallon was next spotted checking himself into the ICU of a nearby hospital.
Sources tell Radar that Fallon’s crew already planned to put a hold on the show to celebrate the Fourth of July, but the show host didn’t expect he might be spending the time healing instead. Fallon will be out of work for two weeks due to the injury now.
“It was just a little accident,” the source insists. “It’s not serious.” Other reports say the Fallon’s hand accident took place at his Manhattan apartment this morning on Friday.
An employee at the restaurant said that when Fallon dined last night, there wasn’t an incident that took place there, according to Radar.
