Late mother Whitney Houston had a plan about her only child Bobbi Kristina Brown‘s inheritance, in the case that her daughter should pass away.

Whitney’s 1993 Last Will & Testament shows that if Bobbi “doesn’t survive her,” the “estate shall be divided by her mother, Cissy, and other family members,” according to RadarOnline.com. “Whitney appointed her mother, Cissy, as executor of the will, and after her death three years ago, her sister-in-law, Pat Houston, became co-executor,” Radar reports.

Whitney’s will, which was finalized before her divorce to ex-husband Bobby, 46, states: “If no child of mine survives me: I give all jewelry own at my death to my mother, Emily Cissy Houston, if she survives me; and I give the rest of my tangible personal property to those of my mother, Emily Cissy Houston, my father John R. Houston, my husband, Robert Brown, my brother Michael Houston, and my brother Gary Houston, as survive me to be amicably divided among them as they might agree, in shares as nearly equal as possible.”

When ex Bobby and Whitney divorced, that ruled out him inheriting his share. Plus, Whitney’s father passed in 2003.

And Bobbi Kristina received her first installment of the inheritance (10%) when the singer’s daughter turned 21 earlier this year; one sixth of the inheritance at 25; and the rest of the estate at 30 years old (which includes full royalties from Whitney’s music, likeness and image).

The Houston family might be preparing for a battle over the $20 million fortune left to Bobbi.

She was revived and stabilized by doctors, and was kept in ICU. Multiple sources have confirmed that Bobbi was a regular user of heroin, cocaine and Xanax in the months before the incident. She was also a heavy drinker, reports show.

Her mother Whitney was found dead in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton almost exactly three years earlier. Her mother’s death was ruled an accidental drowning, but many questions still remain about what happened to Bobbi.
