Star told you first in April that the “I Will Wait” singer Marcus Mumford and wife Carey Mulligan are expecting, but were keeping the news hush-hush until she started to show.
So, when Mulligan, 29, showed up on the 2015 Tony Awards red carpet in New York City on June 7, her gown didn’t even give the news totally away yet. Carey is currently involved with Broadway’s Skylight in New York City and a source told Star that after she finishes her last movie project, “she will be able to enjoy some much needed time off when their bundle of joy comes later this year.”

“Carey and Marcus are thrilled to welcome their first child,” an insider told Star earlier this year in April.
“The thing with these two is that they are extremely private people,” the insider explains.
And it hasn’t been easy for Carey’s gal-pals to hold back the news. “They both come from very solid families and have a real sense of life they want to live. It’s an amazing balance they’ve managed to strike. I can’t wait for a little baby to come along,” one of Carey’s girlfriends Sienna Miller almost revealed when she heard the news.
The couple was married in 2012, where Carey’s father-in-law conducted the wedding ceremony in Somerset, England.
