Motherhood is certainly treating Eva Mendes well! Just six months after giving birth to her daughter, Esmeralda, the actress is already back to looking post-baby fabulous, and even revealed in an interview with Extra that she’s starting to sleep through the night again.
“I’m actually starting to sleep,” she admitted. “I’m at a good place, but I definitely need my magic hour concealer! I’m sleeping through the night, but every night…you never know. You never know, right?! Something random could happen and suddenly it’s…not sleeping through the night.”
But becoming a mom has helped the 41-year-old appreciate something even more important than sleep — her own mother! “My mother’s never gotten more, like, ‘I love you so much, Mommy’ texts,” she laughed. “I mean, randomly, I’m just like, ‘I love you so much, mom! you’re the best mom!'”
Luckily, Eva has a lot of help with the baby from her hunky boyfriend, Ryan Gosling, and revealed how her “feminine” sense of style helps keep their relationship strong. “Sweatpants? No, no, no!” she explained. “You can’t do sweatpants! Ladies, number one cause of divorce in America — sweatpants! No, you can’t do that!”
