Oh no she didn’t! Throughout the last several years, Jennifer Lawrence has won the public’s heart with her incredible acting ability, as well as her relatable personality during award shows and appearances — but there’s at least one person who isn’t feeling it.
In an interview with V Magazine, Chloe Sevigny wasn’t afraid to diss the Oscar winner, and caused some controversy with her comments about the lovable 24-year-old. “So much is marketing and selling the product,” she dished. “They’ll have a really pepper funny girl on the talk show rounds, and everyone adores her and loves her and wants to be her or f— her, and then so many more people want to watch the movie or TV show. I understand that star quality, how much value that carries. I love when a movie star is a great movie star.”
And that’s when she started naming names. “I think Angelina Jolie is a great movie star,” Chloe admitted. “I don’t think I can be that, or just be an actor, I don’t think I have the charisma. Which is probably why I never reached another level. I like Emma Stone, whenever she’s herself, she’s really cute. Jennifer Lawrence I find annoying. Too crass.”
