With weeks of morning sickness behind her, Kate Middleton has a lot to celebrate! Star has learned that, at a recent doctor’s visit, the Duchess of Cambridge found out she’s carrying a healthy baby girl.

As thrilled as she is now, Kate wasn’t all that surprised by the news of her baby’s gender. “As her health started to improve, she began having this recurring dream,” an insider reveals. “It was about having a daughter.” But while the news is a dream come true for Kate, her husband, Prince William, is stressing a bit — he has very little experience with baby girls.

While the couple hasn’t made the news of their second baby’s gender public just yet, they did share the news with family, and with the help of Kate’s parents and sister, Pippa, celebrated with a small, pink-themed celebration.

Kate is currently decorating her future daughter’s nursery, and is mostly focused on being a good mom while keeping her child healthy. “She knows how lucky she is,” the source adds. “She isn’t taking anything for granted, and her only wish is for a healthy baby girl.”
