Bethenny Frankel got a trick, not a treat, when she was denied entry to not one but two Halloween parties in New York City. The Skinnygirl mogul, who’ll be returning to The Real Housewives of New York next season, sauntered up to Bette Midler’s legendary Fellini Haluweeni gala at the Waldorf Astoria hotel expecting the velvet ropes to part, only to be majorly dissed.
“She was flabbergasted when they wouldn’t let her in,” tattles a source, noting that other low-level celebs like Peter Facinelli, La La Anthony and Perez Hilton were also shut out. “This wasn’t a small event — there were a thousand people at this party. She was just mortified.”
That wasn’t Bethenny’s only bust of the night — she was also denied entry to Heidi Klum’s 15th annual Halloween bash, held at Manhattan hotspot Tao Downtown. “Those are the two hottest Halloween parties in New York and Bethenny wasn’t there,” the source said. “She was furious.”
And this isn’t the first time it’s happened, either. Last December, Bethenny tried to attend a private party Tao in NYC, but since she wasn’t on the guest list, bouncers wouldn’t let her in. Bethenny wasn’t having it, though, and even tried to undo the rope and strong-arm her way past security! Looks like she’ll have to start hitting the gym again if she wants that one to work…
