It’s been months since Tori Spelling found out her husband Dean McDermott cheated on her, leading to an array of marriage problems all documented on Lifetime’s True Tori, but are they finally on the mend?!

Since the summer, the couple have put on a united front, and the Chopped Canada host insists it’s because their relationship is back on track. “We are in a better place than ever,” he told Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb on Today. “Our love is stronger, we’re solid, we’re communicating. We’re actually having a fully functional relationship.”

The second season of True Tori is currently airing, but for Dean, it will be his last. “I’m done with the show,” he said, reiterating a statement he’s previously made. “I want some of my privacy back. I think I’ve shared too much of my soul and my demons with strangers. And, as you know, with that, comes positive and negative reactions. It’s just not a good space for me.”

Still, that doesn’t mean he’s bashing the show completely (“I’ve learned a lot about myself, our relationship — it’s been a good process,” he added), and he even admitted he’d be fine if Tori decided to film another season on her own.

And with Tori proving she’s willing to do just about anything for ratings, even going as far as to bring her and Dean’s exes back in the most recent episode (they were both married when they got together), it doesn’t look like she plans on walking away anytime soon!
