The FBI is taking action after Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton and several more celebs were hacked, leading to their nude photos being posted online.
A spokesperson for the agency said it is “aware of the allegations concerning computer intrusions and the unlawful release of material involving high profile individuals, and is addressing the matter. Any further comment would be inappropriate at this time.”
While Ariana Grande and Victoria Justice denied that alleged leaked photos of them are authentic, Jennifer’s publicist confirmed that the actress’ pictures are, indeed, real. “This is a flagrant violation of privacy,” she said. “The authorities have been notified and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence.”
Apple is also looking into whether or not any iCloud accounts were tampered with, resulting in the images being stolen.
