When Ramona Singer filmed the Real Housewives of New York reunion, the third and final part of which aired on Tuesday, she was still trying to make things work with husband Mario Singer…despite the fact that he cheated on her.
The chance at reconciliation made the reality star quite testy during the reunion special, and she harshly avoided answering questions about her relationship. Now, in a new blog post written after the show aired, she explains her reactions.
“When I filmed the reunion Mario and I had reconciled only the month before,” she explains. “I so wanted to try to get our relationship back on track. Mario was extremely adamant about me not speaking about our relationship and his infidelity. This is so not who I am — I always speak freely on all subjects. I was allowing my husband to control my behavior.”
She goes on to discuss in greater detail how she felt when learning Mario cheated. “Having your husband betray you is the worst feeling in the world, and I wish it on no one,” she says. “I feel like I was emotionally bruised for the past five months by Mario. I felt at times as if I was walking on eggshells. We were working with a marriage counselor. I was in a fragile state.”
In February, Ramona and Mario separated, with her even reportedly filing for divorce, but several weeks later they were back together and giving it another shot. Just last week, she made an announcement on Twitter that she’d decided to leave her husband again.
