She may be several months pregnant, but that isn’t stopping Christina Aguilera from helping others! On Aug. 5, the singer showed off her growing baby bump while announcing the launch of World Hunger Relief’s #PassTheRedCup challenge, benefiting U.N. World Food Programme.
For the project, Christina is challenging everyone to share #PassTheRedCup on their social media channels in order to raise awareness for the global hunger issue. She’s also urging people to donate $5 to help feed 20 children via HungertoHope.com, or in any of the 40,000 KFC, Taco Bell or Pizza Hut restaurants across 125 countries. People can also text “WHR” to 90999 to make donations.
“The beautiful faces of the children I’ve met in Rwanda and in other countries are with me every day and fuel my passion to raise awareness of the global hunger issue,” she said in a statement. “That’s why I’m urging everyone to join me and #PassTheRedCup for Yum! Brands’ World Hunger Relief effort. Please share #PassTheRedCup on social media channels to raise awareness and donate $5 to feed 20 children. Together we can create a movement andmove millions of children from hunger to hope.”
Christina and her fiance, Matt Rutler, are expecting their baby later this year. She’s already mom to 6-year-old Max with her ex-husband, Jordan Bratman.
