When Channing Tatum walked the red carpet for the New York City premiere of 22 Jump Street on June 4, his wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, was nowhere to be found. The actor told a Star reporter, “She’s working,” but friends say there’s another reason for Jenna’s absence: their three-year marriage is on the brink!
For interviews and public appearances together — which are increasingly few and far between — the couple have crafted the image of a blissfully in-love duo, but behind closed doors, things aren’t so rosy. As Channing’s career has skyrocketed, his constant partying, flirtatious antics and nonstop work schedule have pushed him farther and farther away from his wife.
In fact, it started back when Jenna was pregnant, and her hubby was filming Foxcatcher in Pittsburgh, where eyewitnesses say he was continuously flirting with women on-set. The behavior continued during the press tour for White House Down, right after the couple’s daughter, Everly, was born. “Jenna and Chan fought about it constantly,” a source reveals to Star. “She kept reminding him that he’s a married father who has no business hanging out with drunk women.”
Friends fear that if the Magic Mike star doesn’t give up his wild ways soon, Jenna may give up on him. “They may appear happy,” the insider explains. “But things are not good.”
