The production of American Idol may be changing, but the faces in the judges’ chairs will remain the same! Fox confirmed on Monday that Season 13 judges Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban will all return to the show for Season 14. Ryan Seacrest will also continue his hosting duties.
“I am thrilled our consummate host, Mr. Ryan Seacrest, is returning for Season 14, together with Jennifer, Harry and Keith,” show creator Simon Fuller said in a statement. “Their interaction, warmth and experience made them an absolute joy to watch. I can’t wait to see their evolution together continue next season.”
This will be Harry’s second season on the show, Keith’s third and Jen’s fourth.
For the upcoming season, it’s rumored that Idol will stay at two nights a week during the audition phase of the show, but downgrade to just one episode per week once the live shows begin.
