First world problems, huh? On Monday, LeAnn Rimes had surgery for something that just about everybody experiences at some point in their life — a simple hangnail! You can’t make this stuff up!
The singer took to Twitter to announce the news…and complain about how dreadfully painful the “injury” was. “Seriously painful hang nail,” she wrote. “About to have surgery at the derm. This is not going be very enjoyable!!”
Getting rid of the problem didn’t stop the 31-year-old from complaining to her nearly 550,000 followers, though. “Omg, that hurt!” she added. “Numbing shots on your fingers are no bueno! at least I don’t feel any pain right now or my hand for that matter.”
Surgery. For. A. Hangnail. Just a guess, but instances like this may just be one of the reasons stars voted LeAnn as one of this year’s most hated celebrities…
