Another shake-up in the world of late night TV! Over the weekend, Chelsea Handler’s manager, Irving Azoff, announced that the comedian plans to end her show, Chelsea Lately, after this season.
“Chelsea intends to leave when her contract expires,” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “She hired me to figure out her life after E! We have at least seven suitors and many ideas.”
These plans include a possible stint in radio, or even a late night show on another TV network or digital service. The 39-year-old has nine months left in her contract with the E! network.
Besides just working in late night television, Chelsea has also published five books. Her most recent, Uganda Be Kidding Me, reached No. 1 on the New York Times best seller list, and stayed there for over a week.
