Speculation after L’Wren Scott’s unexpected suicide led many to believe she was struggling professionally, leading to financial problems. However, the designer’s will, obtained by The New York Post, tells a very different story.
According to the court papers, L’Wren left her $8 million condo to longtime boyfriend, Mick Jagger,. along with $1 million worth of other valuables. “I give all my jewelry, clothing, household furniture and furnishings, personal automobiles and other tangible articles of personal nature…to Michael Philip Jagger,” the will says.
The papers were signed by the former model on May 23, 2013. She left nothing to her family. “Except if otherwise provided in this will, I have intentionally omitted to provide herein for any of my heirs living at the date of my death,” she wrote.
L’Wren was found hanging by a scarf in her New York City apartment on March 17. Her death was officially ruled a suicide just days later.
