There have been many instances on Keeping Up With the Kardashians when Kourtney Kardashian’s family members have questioned her parenting techniques. One of those include her method of attachment parenting, something she says wasn’t intentional.
“Both Mason and Penelope still sleep in my bed,” she told Redbook or her four-year-old and 20-month-old kids. “It’s what came naturally to me; I didn’t plan it. When I had Mason, I just felt really attached to him and wanted to bring him everywhere. He ended up sleeping with me and I breast fed for 14 months.”
The 34-year-old added that the kids generally go to sleep in their own rooms, but end up in she and Scott Disick’s “sometimes within minutes.”
It seems that Kourtney doesn’t push this parenting technique on any of her family members, though, and she admitted she didn’t have to give her sister Kim Kardashian too much advice when it was her turn to be mom. “Probably more before she had her baby, like what was essential to get,” she explained, of how she advised her little sis. “But I think once you become a mom, your instincts kick in so far as what to do and how to handle everything.”
