Giving back! Taylor Swift took some time out of her busy schedule to visit the children’s wing at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City over the weekend.
According to Just Jared, the singer was reportedly only supposed to hang around for an hour, but wound up staying for much longer than that. In a touching video from the trip, the 24-year-old meets 17-year-old cancer patient Shelby Huff.
Although Taylor seems a bit uncomfortable in the situation, she is immediately welcomed by the young girl’s family, and they bond over playing guitar, the film Divergent, and much more.
The “Red” singer is currently taking a bit of a break, but will head to Asia for a few more dates of her Red tour in June.
