The autopsy is complete, and a New York City medical examiner has released Philip Seymour Hoffman’s cause of death. According to TMZ, the actor died from “acute mixed drug intoxication,” with heroine, cocaine and several other drugs found in his system.

The 46-year-old was found in his apartment, unconscious, on Feb. 2 with a needle in his arm. It was assumed that he died of a heroin overdose. He had three young children with his longtime girlfriend, Mimi O’Donnell, whom he separated from just months before the overdose.

Stars like Cate Blanchett and Amy Adams have publicly honored Philip since his unexpected passing.
