Last week, Mila Kunis revealed that her ideal date with boyfriend Ashton Kutcher is casual — doing something they love while wearing a white t-shirt and jeans. In a new interview with Details, she added that when they tried to splurge…it was quite a shocking experience.
“I didn’t make the [most recent] splurge; my significant other did,” she told the mag. “And then I looked at the bill and I thought I was going to die. We went out to dinner recently — we’re massive foodies. We went to a restaurant in L.A., and without mentioning the name or the price, let me just tell you: When the check came, I gasped. And it was not French Laundry or Per Se. That’s all I’m going to say. The food was great, but what is this? We were both like, ‘Uh, this is crazy.'”
In the interview, the actress also opened up about her dream costars — Kate Winslet, Cate Blanchett and Matt Damon. “But, you know, you never really go by actors,” she said. “You go by story or whatever you gravitate towards. When I went into film at 22, I made a conscious effort to surround myself with people who are better and smarter than I am. And I always felt like, whether the film was successful or not, at least I learned something.”
Coming up, she’ll star in Jupiter Ascending, alongside Channing Tatum and The Angriest Man in Brooklyn, among stars like Robin Williams, Peter Dinklage and Melissa Leo.
