The actress took her second stab at directing with the film Unbroken, which was filmed down under. The movie is based on the true story of Louis Zamperini, an Olympic track star turned World War II pilot whose plane was shot down during the war. He survived 47 days on a raft in the middle of the ocean, only to be captured and kept prisoner by the Japanese.
A first look at Unbroken premiered during the 2014 Winter Olympics, and features the real Zamperini himself, at 97-years-old. While the former Olympian narrates pieces of his story, parts of the trailer, starring Jack O’Connell, flash by. We also get a peek at Angelina taking the reigns behind-the-scenes.
