It took Bradley Cooper and Suki Waterhouse months to start attending official events together, so it’s not surprising that the couple often remains tight-lipped about their relationship. During a recent interview with Rollacoaster magazine, though, the British model opened up about meeting her now-boyfriend.
“I met him at the Elle Style Awards in London last year,” she admitted (the event took place on Feb. 11, 2013). “We were introduced and hit it off almost immediately. We were dancing at the after party, and he asked me if I fancied going to a club. We went to Cirque le Soir in London — and he’s a ridiculously good dancer, yes. But I’m a serious dancer, too, so I don’t know if I was fully concentrating on that. We make a pretty good duo, though.”
Despite a 17-year age difference, though, the couple has been together for nearly a year. “I never get asked about it, because they all think I’m not going to answer them,” the 22-year-old explained.
Reluctance to ask Suki about her relationship stems from an interview she did with Elle in December. “I’m not one of those girls who goes on about their boyfriends,” she said, at the time. “I do think whatever I say will sound weird. But the truth is, if I start talking about him, I probably won’t be able to stop.”
Most recently, the couple attended a State Dinner at the White House together.
