Tracy DiMarco-Epstein from the now-defunct Style Network reality show Jerseylicious has spoken out about the arrest of her husband, Corey Epstein, who allegedly sold painkillers to an undercover cop.
“There’s bigger, better, fish to fry,” said Tracy in a phone interview with the Staten Island Advance. “Every article is Jerseylicious, Jerseylicious.”
Tracy insists her hubby had a legitimate prescription for Oxycodone following a 2009 bar brawl. “He has a lifelong injury on his leg, and that’s why he has possession of it…. His possession of the pill is through a doctor,” she said.
She didn’t comment further on the alleged sale of three pills to an undercover officer outside of their home last week.
On Instagram, Tracy wrote, “I’m happy [District Attorney] Donovan is trying to get everything cleared up and drugs off the street I’ve never done and never will do any sort of drug I don’t even smoke cigarettes or weed . I’m very straight edged & I am supportive of what he’s trying to do however I don’t think Corey’s face and name should be splashed across the magazines tabloids & newspapers just bc he’s on a show it makes him look like he ran a cartel or something it’s INSANE !!”
Corey was released on his own recognizance and only commented to New York Times Metro City Editor Dean Chang on Twitter saying, “all bulls– got no charges they tried using my name.”
