Another Bachelor couple says “I Do!” On Sunday evening, Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici tied the knot in ABC’s first-ever live, televised wedding. The nuptials came just over a year after he proposed in Thailand, and ten months after millions of viewers watched it pan out on television.
The 31-year-old wiped tears from his eyes while his wife-to-be walked down the aisle in a strapless Monique Lhuillier gown. During the ceremony, which was officiated by Sean’s dad, the couple read their own vows to one another.
“Sometimes I think I’m going to explode from how much I love you,” Catherine gushed. “I’m completely consumed by you. And tonight, we get to become one. I promise to love you until my heart bursts. I promise to love you until after our children are old and gray…You’re my dream and my reality, my future and my present, my whole heart and my best friend.”
Sean’s vows were next. “Every day, I am encouraged by your love, and as your husband, I promise to always put you first,” he said. “I promise to be the best father I can be to our children, and I promise to always make you laugh with my silly faces and ridiculous voices…I love you and I’m going to love you for eternity.”
Other Bachelor alums, including Trista and Ryan Sutter, J.P. and Ashley Rosenbaum and Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried were in attendance at the wedding.
