Khloe Jokes About Marriage Trouble on KUWTK

Khloe Kardashian

The first two episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians Season 9 have focused heavily on Khloe Kardashian’s relationship troubles with Lamar Odom. While the reality star never specifically discussed exactly what went wrong in the marriage, on Monday’s episode, she did admit that they’d been living apart and, at the time, hadn’t seen each other in two months!

For most of the episode, the 29-year-old seemed troubled and upset, but while attending a work event with sister Kourtney Kardashian, she did attempt to make light of the situation. The ladies were rehearsing talking points before an appearance for Sears in Las Vegas when Khloe joked that she wanted to just come right out and admit that it’s been a difficult time for her.

“We’re so excited to be part of the family,” she read off the paper, cracking a smile, and adding, “Because I don’t have one of my own!”

Throughout the episode, Khloe got many phone calls from her estranged husband, apologizing for comments his father, Joe Odom, made about her family. Many times, Lamar tried to meet up with her, and even showed up at the house unannounced. “I can’t see you right now,” she told him in one of their phone conversations.

Meanwhile, mom Kris Jenner expressed sympathy for her daughter’s situation. “Six months ago she had a husband and a family and a bond that I thought would be unbreakable,” the family matriarch explained. “I just need to be her support system right now, good or bad, one way or the other. Everyday I wake up and I don’t know what we’re going to be dealt. I don’t know what’s going to happen, and it scares the s— out of me. It’s just so sad to sit back and watch somebody’s life implode right before your very eyes.”
