It’s been a month and a half since Paul Walker’s tragic death, but his memory, of course, continues to live on — especially with his Fast and Furious costars. Tyrese stopped by E! News on Thursday and discussed his late friend, as well as the fate of Fast and Furious 7.
“I think, at the end of the day, my inspiration was…I’ve never seen him cry,” the actor admitted. “I’ve never seen him sad. I’ve never seen him down. So, at the end of the day, he wouldn’t want anybody to be sad or miserable about the fact that he’s not here because that’s just not who he was.”
Paul had already shot several scenes for the upcoming film when a fatal car accident took his life. “There’s a lot of sensitivities about how to move forward,” Tyrese explained. “We have to be honorable toward…the obvious. But, I do know this: there’s no way Paul, specifically, would want this franchise to go away.”
The late actor’s scenes will be included in the film, which is set for an April 2015 release.
