Shia LaBeouf has been exhibiting strange behavior on Twitter lately, but that likely doesn’t compare to what he was like on set of Charlie Countryman! The actor admitted that he used method acting for the film, and dropped acid on set for his role.
Now, his costar, Rupert Grint, has detailed what the former Disney star was like under the drug’s influence. “If anything will make you not do drugs, it’s watching that,” he admitted. “He smashed the place up, got naked and kept seeing an owl.”
After Shia’s admission, the film’s director revealed that acid wasn’t even the drug in the script — it was Carpathian ecstasy.
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old recently took to Twitter to announcing that he is “retiring from all public life.” His decision comes after he was called called out and subsequently sued for plagiarizing in his short film HowardCantour.com.
