If Amanda Bynes continues to stay out of trouble, she could have one less legal issue to worry about. The charges stemming from her May 2013 bong-throwing case could eventually be dismissed — if she completes six months of counseling.

If she chooses to comply with the terms, her lawyer has until the next court date on June 30 to file an affidavit. Once the six months are completed, the case will be dismissed.

Last spring, the actress was charged with reckless endangerment, tampering with evidence and criminal possession of marijuana after she allegedly tossed a bong out the window of her New York City apartment. Soon after, she was put on an involuntary 5150 hold after lighting fire to a driveway in California. She has since completed six months of rehab.

Now, the 27-year-old is living with her parents in California under a temporary conservatorship, and she’s reportedly enrolled in the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising of Orange County.

Still, Amanda has her April 2012 DUI case to worry about. Her lawyer is reportedly working out a plea deal so the troubled star can avoid jail time.
