Three weeks after Paul Walker’s fatal car crash, the release date for his final film, Fast and Furious 7, has been revealed. The actor’s costar and friend, Vin Diesel, announced on Facebook Sunday night that the latest installment of the franchise won’t hit theaters until April 10, 2015.
Along with the news, he shared a photo of himself and Paul filming their final scene together. “There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared… in the film we were now completing… the magic captured… and, in just how far we’ve come…,” he wrote.
Earlier this month, production on the movie, originally slated for a July 11, 2014 release, was put on hold as the cast and crew grieved. The footage Paul already shot will reportedly still be in the film, but no details have been released yet on how his death will affect the storyline.
