It’s a good time to be Leighton Meester! The actress, who recently got engaged to Adam Brody, will make her Broadway debut in 2014.
The former Gossip Girl star will appear in a revival of Of Mice and Men, starring alongside James Franco, who will play George, and Chris O’Dowd who will portray the mentally challenged Lennie. Leighton’s role will be the wife of a rancher who tempts the duo and fascinates Lennie.
On Broadway for the first time in 40 years, Of Mice and Men will begin previews on March 19 at the Longacre Theater. The limited engagement will only last until July 27.
Since Gossip Girl’s ending in 2012, Leighton hasn’t released any new projects, although she’s got some movies coming out next year.
