Will Fast and Furious 7 Continue Without Paul Walker?

After breaking for Thanksgiving, the cast and crew of Fast and Furious 7 were set to return to Atlanta on Sunday to resume shooting the film. Of course, all of that changed when the franchise’s star Paul Walker was tragically killed in a car accident on Saturday.

Production on the film is currently being delayed, although it will reportedly be completed eventually. The film’s director, James Wan, met with executives on Sunday to discuss how to move forward.

The movie’s release date is currently set for July 11, so production was already on an expedited schedule. Understandably, this unfortunate event could possibly push the release date back.

Things could get extra shaky for the studio, too, considering the 40-year-old actor died in a fiery car accident, and the film is about racing cars. No word yet on how this could affect production or promotion.

Meanwhile, Paul also stars in the film Hours, due out next week, which is set to keep its original release date.
