DWTS Week 10: Who Will Dance in the Finals?

Tony Dovolani & Leah Remini

The Cinderella story continues on Season 17 of Dancing With the Stars. After 6 straight weeks at the bottom of the leaderboard, Bill Engvall has managed to land a place in next week’s finals.

Leah Remini was eliminated in this week’s semi-finals, scoring a 32 and 33 on her Paso Doble and Argentine Tango, respectively. That means Bill will be joined by Corbin Bleu, Jack Osbourne and Amber Riley in the finals.

Each of the four finalists have had different obstacles facing them the entire season, which will likely continue to come into play next week.

Bill will have to hope his fans continue voting as they have been, because in terms of dancing, it’s pretty obvious that he is a step below the rest of his competitors. Meanwhile, Jack’s MS finally began to affect him in Week 10, but as long as he can push through for one more week, his constant improvement throughout the season could continue to win viewers over.

Not only is Amber a natural dancer, but she’s got arguably the best pro on the show, Derek Hough (a four time winner) as her partner. However, her knees have been giving out at different points all season long, so there’s no telling what injury could flare up with a Freestyle dance on the line.

Corbin grew up as a dancer, and has done it professionally more than once. Obviously, this comes in handy for a show like Dancing With the Stars, however, the judges have noticeably been harder on him in terms of scoring all season long. As long as viewers vote based on his talent, it seems like this competition is his to lose, but then again, this season has been incredibly unpredictable.

As for the pros, Derek and Jack’s partner, Cheryl Burke (a two-time winner), have both seen six finals, while Corbin’s pro Karina Smirnoff has been in three (winning once). Bill’s partner, Emma Slater, is currently competing in her first season on the show, so just making it this far is already a pretty incredible feat.
