She sings about “popping Molly” and “getting turnt up” on more than on track of her album Bangerz, but Miley Cyrus insists she’s not a party girl. In a recent interview with BBC 1 Radio in London, the 20-year-old says that her life is actually much different than what the public might think.
Of course, the world isn’t wrong to assume that Miley likes to party. Just last weekend, she publicly lit a joint on stage at the European Music Awards in Amsterdam, but she admits that’s a “once-in-a-while” type of thing.
“I’m kind of a hermit,” she reveals. “So, like, it’s good if I can do this when I’m traveling and then when I go home I don’t really leave my house. I tell people that think I’m really cool, like…by the way…I’m super lame. When you read about me, I sound like all I do is club and go party with Terry Richardson. But actually, I’m like, the lamest. I never leave the house because I’m a complete hermit.”
Still, the singer says she’s “pretty stoked” for her upcoming 21st birthday. “I still can’t rent a car, but I can get a drink, so that’s good,” she explains.
