Just because their marriage is over, doesn’t mean they’re done with each other! Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr may have decided to end their romantic relationship, but in a new interview with Katie Couric, the actors reveals that they still plan to be a part of each other’s lives…especially for the sake of their son, Flynn.
“We love each other,” he told the talk show host. “We’re a family. We’re going to be in each other’s lives for the rest of our lives. There’s no question that, for the sake of our son and everything else, we’re going to support one another and love each other as parents to Flynn. You know, life sometimes doesn’t work out exactly as we plan or hope for. But fortunately, we’re both adults…I’m 36 now, she’s 30…and we’re professionals, and we love and care about each other. And we, most of all, love our son.”
The gorgeous couple married in July 2011, gave birth to Flynn in January 2012, and announced their separation last week. “After six years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation,” the couple said, in a joint statement. “Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family.”
