Kanye West invited close friends and family members to watch him propose to Kim Kardashian…but besides the people there, no one else was supposed to see the grand gesture. Naturally, though, video footage from the big night was released online.
According to TMZ, the rapper and reality star are now suing YouTube co-founder, Chad Hurley, who allegedly leaked the video. In the legal papers, the couple claims that Chad schemed to post the video on his site MixBit.
They also allege that the entrepreneur wasn’t even invited to the proposal at AT&T Park in San Francisco, but he managed to get in anyway. After that, he signed a confidentiality agreement, and even took a photo holding the document!
Kim and Kanye are suing for unspecified damages. The lawsuit also mentions that the exclusive video was meant to go to the company that broadcasts and produces Kim’s reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
