The brothers revealed that their decision was unanimous, and although the breakup may not be “forever,” they’re definitely “closing a chapter.” The trouble started when the band canceled their tour just two days before they were supposed to set out on the road. Their publicist attributed this to a “deep rift” within the band based on a disagreement regarding what direction their music was headed in.
Now, Nick admits that it was he who first expressed concern over their future, which he shared with his brothers at a meeting on Oct. 3.
Both Nick and Joe have attempted solo projects in the past, so there’s a chance there will still be music in their future. Meanwhile, Kevin is expecting his first child with wife, Danielle Jonas.
