It’s time for a high school reunion! Five years after the final High School Musical film was released, it’s been announced that the cast is getting back together. Unfortunately, we won’t see Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron falling back in love on-screen — instead, the group will reunite for charity.
Cast member Monique Coleman organized the event for her nonprofit GimmeMo’ Foundation, which aims to improve the lives of the youth around the world. The private party will take place in Los Angeles in December, but by donating, fans can enter for the chance to win their way in.
Monique got things underway by asking her former costars to be part of the event on Twitter. “I’m SO in @
gimmemotalk! #reunion,” Ashley Tisdale responded. Vanessa mimicked her BFF by writing, “Yup @ gimmemotalk! I’m in : ). #reunion.”
Both Corbin Bleu and Lucas Grabeel are also on board, along with Kaycee Stroh, Olesya Rulin and the films’ director Kenny Ortega. Unfortunately, Zac won’t be attending, but it’s reported that he’ll record a special video message for the big winner.Download this week's issue of Star Magazine for only $1.99
