Three months after his highly publicized birth, Prince George officially has godparents! The seven chosen were naturally selected by the infant’s parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Surprisingly, the couples’ famous siblings, Prince Harry and Pippa Middleton are not on the list. However, William’s first cousin, Zara Phillips, who is 15th in line for the throne, did make the cut. The Prince’s childhood friend, William van Cutsem, is also on the list as well as Kate’s college friends Oliver Baker and Emilia Jardine-Paterson.

Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, who served as the couple’s secretary from 2005-2012, is also listed as a godparent, along with the Duke of Westminster’s son, Earl Grosvenor. Closing out the list is Julia Samuel, who was a close friend of William’s late mother, Princess Diana.

All seven godparents, along with their spouses, attended Prince George’s christening on Wednesday (pictured above). They were joined by the Duke and Duchess, Prince Harry, Kate’s parents and two siblings, William’s grandparents, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip and his parents, Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla.
