Let the casting speculation continue! A week after it was announced that Charlie Hunnam would no longer be playing Christian Grey in 50 Shades of Grey, there has yet to be an update on who will take his place.

However, the actor made his first official appearance since leaving the film on Monday at the “Hogs for Heart” event in Beverly Hills. “I am doing good,” he told E! “I am just really concentrating on work. It’s been a really busy time.”

Indeed, although the 33-year-old will no longer be starring in the anticipated movie, he’s still been hard at work finishing up the last season of FX’s series Sons of Anarchy. “I have had some family stuff going on,” he admitted, “so I’m just trying to stay focused and stay positive and keep trying to do a good job at work and be with my family.”

Charlie didn’t comment on his exit from 50 Shades directly, but he did reiterate that he’ll return to England after shooting Sons of Anarchy to be with his family.
