Lea Michele Steps Out With Jane Lynch & Matthew Morrison, Talks Cory Monteith

On Thursday, Glee will finally air its tribute episode for Cory Monteith and his character, Finn Hudson. While the night will certainly be emotional for his real life and on-screen love, Lea Michele, the actress put on a brave face Tuesday to attend a Hollywood Foreign Press Association panel.

The 27-year-old was joined bye Glee creator Ryan Murphy, as well as her costars Matthew Morrison and Jane Lynch. “Me, @MrRPMurphy @janemarielynch & @Matt_Morrison at the #HFPA #GLEE Panel..,” she tweeted with a photo of the group. They were also seen getting lunch together.

For the first time since Cory’s sudden death in July, Lea finally opened up about her late boyfriend of one year in an interview. “For me personally, I’ve lost two people — Cory and Finn. We had a beautiful memorial for Cory in the auditorium and some of the cast members sang and people spoke about him.” The gathering is similar to what Glee will do for Finn in Thursday’s episode.

“Everyone is asking, ‘Is it hard to do this? Is it hard to be back at work?’ But the truth is, it’s no harder at work than it is in life, so we might as well all be together as a family supporting each other to get through this together.”

The actress also gushed about what she loved most about the actor. “I woke up every single day feeling like I was in some sort of spell or something, that I was lucky enough to have him in my life,” she admitted. “There was no greater man than Cory, so for the time we spent together, I consider myself very lucky.”
