Dancing With the Stars Week 4: Which Star Graciously Left the Ballroom?

Tristan MacManus & Valerie Harper

It was an emotional night in the Dancing With the Stars ballroom, as the season’s oldest and undoubtedly most courageous contestant was sent home. Although fans and even fellow competitors have been pulling for her, Valerie Harper‘s low scores sent her home in Week 4 of the show.

The 74-year-old actress, who was diagnosed with terminal cancer earlier this year, graciously left the ballroom, praising the show, the judges, her fellow contestants, and most importantly, her partner, Tristan MacManus.

With Valerie, Bill Nye and Keyshawn Johnson gone now, the competition is suddenly very tight. On Monday’s episode, all three judges (with Julianne Hough filling in for Len Goodman) gave identical scores to every competitor.

Eizabeth Berkley, Amber Riley and Corbin Bleu sit atop the leaderboard, each with 27 points. Leah Remini, Nicole Polizzi, Jack Osbourne and Christina Milian make up the center of the pack with 24. And, at the bottom, were Brant Daugherty and Bill Engvall. With these scores and last week’s viewer votes, these 9 move on.

The show will take a hiatus next Monday, but be back in two weeks, where the new judges scores will be added to last night’s viewer votes for the next elimination. Will we finally see our first ten of the season (although Corbin deserved that last night)?!
