Despite all the on-set changes over the last few years, things seem to be going well for Two and a Half Men. After Season 11’s first episode aired last week, new character Amber Tamblyn has already been promoted to a series regular.
Originally, the actress only signed on for five episodes for her role as Charlie Harper’s (Charlie Sheen) illegitimate daughter…who’s also a lesbian. However, when she shows up to find her estranged father, she learns of his death, and subsequently moves into Walden’s (Ashton Kutcher) beach house.
Amber’s role can now officially be considered a replacement for Angus T. Jones, who left the show after Season 10. Now, Jon Cryer is the only original Two and a Half Men left.
The Season 11 premiere of the show raked in nearly 14 million viewers, which helped to secure Amber’s spot.
