WATCH: First Look at Miley Cyrus' MTV Documentary Miley: The Movement

It’s been nearly a month since Miley Cyrus controversial VMAs performance, but people are still talking. And with a documentary airing on MTV on Oct. 2, chances are that won’t stop anytime soon.

MTV released the trailer for Miley: The Movement on Wednesday, and the focus is clearly on the VMAs. “Everyone takes the VMAs so seriously,” she tells Britney Spears in one scene. “I just wanna come out and…shoot a hot dog gun! I just want to have fun!”

After growing up as a teen star and having VMAs controversies of her own, Britney has been in the 20-year-old’s corner, and even publicly defended her in a recent Good Morning America interview. The “Work Bitch” singer will also be featured on a track on Miley’s upcoming album.

“You’re always going to make people talk,” Miley says. “You might as well make them talk for like, two weeks, rather than two seconds.” Mission accomplished.

Besides her career skyrocketing right now, the “Wrecking Ball” singer is going through a lot of personal problems, too. On Monday, it was confirmed that her engagement to Liam Hemsworth was officially off. However, the focus of the documentary is her work, and doesn’t seem like it will focus on her personal life.
