Girl power! Just like with most of her live shows, Taylor Swift brought out a special guest to her first show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Monday. Except this time she treated the crowd to an even bigger surprise when she performed with two unexpected visitors!
First up was Cher Lloyd, who showed off her tiny figure in a black, leather dress, while rocking out to her song “Want U Back” with the 23-year-old. Taylor, wearing high-waisted red shorts and an “I Love LA” t-shirt, channeled her inner Brit to get the crowd to sing along in her guest’s native accent. “One of my favorite moments of the night was @
CherLloyd coming out to sing ‘Want U Back’,” Taylor tweeted. “The crowd went insane!! And she’s such a fun girl!”
Next, the “Red” singer welcomed Sara Bareilles to the stage, to sing her current hit “Brave,” which Taylor noted is one of her favorite songs at the moment. “Tonight at Staples was an absolute DREAM,” she shared. “@
SaraBareilles came out to sing ‘Brave’, one of my favorite songs. And she completely smashed it!!”
The Staples Center is a far cry from the smaller stages that Sara is used to performing on, but luckily, she found a friend in Taylor to get through it. “Thank you for the sparkle, the screaming, the twinkle, the dreaming, and most of all the pep talk @
taylorswift13. Your fans are amazing!” she tweeted.
