The youngest member of the Kardashian/Jenner family, Kylie Jenner, celebrated her 16th birthday on Saturday, with an over-the-top Sweet 16 party attended by several famous faces. Besides her famous family, Kylie was also feted by stars like Hailee Steinfeld, Ireland Baldwin, Naya Rivera, Jaden Smith, as well as 100 of her friends. The best part of her night, though?! A surprise performance from Drake and Big Sean!
“DRAKE & BIG SEAN what?! Thank you guys so much xx,” she tweeted. Of course, it probably wasn’t too difficult to get the rappers to stop by, especially considering the young model’s brother-in-law, Kanye West, has a connection or two!
“Kanye could not have been any sweeter and wanted to give Kylie a present ther her and her friends would never forget,” a party-goer tells Star. “He didn’t tell anyone about the surprise besides Kris [Jenner], so Kylie, Kendall [Jenner], Bruce [Jenner], Scott [Disick], Rob [Kardashian] and Khloe [Kardashian] were all besides themselves when the rappers came out of nowhere and started performing!”
“Wow wow what an amazing night@kyliejenner I hope you had the most wonderful birthday!” mom Kris Jenner shared. “Thank you Drake AKA@champagnepapi @bigsean for the surprise performances!! #loveyoukanye.”
The big blowout was Alice in Wonderland themed and was held at Los Angeles’ AT&T Center. “It was mainly just dancing and everyone having a blast,” our witness says. At the end of the night, Kylie sent guests home with a punk-themed gift bag that included a beanie hat, backpack with spikes, coupons for sneakers and bathing suits, makeup, bracelets, and a voice recording of her saying, “Thank you for coming! I love you!”
This was the 16-year-old’s second birthday celebration — she also had a more intimate family dinner at Nobu in Malibu the week before. Lucky girl, huh?
