Teresa & Joe Guidice Plead Not Guilty to Fraud Charges

Teresa & Joe Giudice

The legal drama has only just begun for Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe Giudice. The couple pleaded not guilty to federal fraud charges at a court appearance on Aug. 14.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey couple was hit with a 39-count indictment in federal court on July 30, and could face up to 50 years in prison if convicted. The couple was released on $500,000 bail bonds, and in court on Wednesday, Joe’s lawyer made it clear that “they vehemently deny their guilt.”

On Oct. 3, the couple will have their next hearing, with a trial set for Oct. 8. Until then, they’ll continue keeping things as normal as possible for their four daughters, and Teresa will get back to work making appearances to promote her new book.

Over the weekend, both Joe and Teresa made a scheduled appearance in Florida, where she was happily documenting the trip on Instagram. Earlier this week, the couple took their children to the beach at the Jersey Shore to enjoy some family time. Do they not realize the trouble they could be in…?
