The search for an Angus T. Jones replacement on Two and a Half Men is over! Amber Tamblyn has officially joined the cast, playing the illegitimate lesbian daughter of Charlie Harper, who was formerly played by Charlie Sheen.

In this season’s new storyline, Amber will come looking for her father, only to find out he has passed away. Instead, she’ll come across his brother Alan Harper, played by Jon Cryer, and new roomie Walden Schmidt, played by Ashton Kutcher.

As of now, the plan is to have the recently married actress come on for five episodes. However, she’ll get bumped up to a series regular and move in with Alan and Walden if she resonates well with viewers.

This casting news comes more than three months after Angus announced he would not be returning. Season eleven premieres on Sept. 26…and yes, it is weird that the show will still be called Two and a Half Men while the new cast member is female, in case you were wondering.
