Chris Brown Turns Himself In For Hit-and-Run Case -- Plus, Is He Quitting Music?!

Talk about flying under the radar! On Monday, Chris Brown turned himself into a Los Angeles jail for his hit-and-run case, a day before he was scheduled to. The singer reportedly wanted to avoid paparazzi as he turned himself in for the hit-and-run charge.

Within 45 minutes, Chris was booked and released on his own recognizance, and he didn’t even have to pay bail.

Now that this bout of legal drama is behind him, Chris can focus on his new album X, which drops on Aug. 20. However, he might not have music to focus on for too long, because according to recent tweets, this will be his last album!

“Don’t worry mainstream America. After this X album, it’ll probably be my last album,” he wrote on Tuesday, adding, “Being famous is amazing when it’s for ur music and talent. I’m tired of being famous for a mistake I made when i was 18. I’m cool & over it!”

Don’t worry — Chris’ll always have his on-again-off-again relationships with Rihanna and Karrueche Tran to keep him busy…
